Recently, the scientific program "The key technology of blasting to remove high and steep slope dangerous rock kand ecological protection in he three gorges reservoir area" jointly completed by Shandong Hock Mining Engineering Co.,Ltd, Chongqing Construction Engineering Group, Shandong University and Chongqing Blasting Engineering Co., Ltd won the first prize of 2014 Chongqing Scientific and Technological Award. This program made several breakthrough in the theoretic analysis of engineering, engineering practice, technology innovation and other procedures.

Focusing on the increasing collapse hazard in the three gorges reservoir area. This program organized 7 scientific, design and construction units and finally formed the key technology of blasting to remove high and steep slope dangerous rock and ecological protection after scientific research and engineering practice of more than 10 years and guarantee the shipping safety, ecological protection and the rapid development of economy in the reservoir area.

This program won 10 national patents for invention, 34 patents for utility models, 4 software copyrights and published 3 treatises, hundreds of thesis, 1 national construction method and 4 Chongqing construction method. Through the expert appraisal, the program achieved the international advanced level, was high appreciated by the industrial experts and gained great social and economic benefits.
